Plan ahead and save money
If you think you will be able to mount a support handle quickly should the need arise, you’ve got another think coming. If no provisions were made for a fixed anchoring point behind the prewall during construction, this won’t be possible. Installation elements do not only support ceramics; with the corresponding mounting plates, they also offer the necessary stability for attaching support handles. Good anchorage is essential, since a support handle must be capable of temporarily withstanding loads of up to 100 kg if a user brings his or her entire weight to bear on it.
The right installation system makes everything easier
The added costs for including mounting plates when constructing a bathroom only amount to a few hundred dollars – a solid investment. Without these plates, the subsequent installation of simple support handles is likely to be expensive and laborious. The tiles and the panels behind them on their own do not provide sufficiently stable anchorage for support handles, so cannot offer secure support for the bathroom user. In a nutshell, choosing the right installation element means that retrofitting at a later date won’t cost an arm and a leg, and can be done at any time without any problems and with very little effort.
