Tested tightness & reliability
Geberit concealed cisterns are made from a single cistern body. The plastic is blown up like a balloon and moulded, rather than being cast. This technique ensures outstanding tightness and high reliability.
Geberit flushing systems undergo extensive long-term testing, with a minimum of 200,000 flushes and refills. This allows Geberit to simulate 50 years of use within just three months.
The durability tests are performed in our accredited, in-house sanitary technology laboratory (covering around 800 square metres) at our headquarters in Switzerland.
Spares parts availability for 50 years ensures the concealed cisterns can continue to work for years to come. Spare parts availability does not cover specific electronic components of products, such as the Geberit hygiene flush unit or the Geberit DuoFresh odour extraction unit.
