Geberit Pluvia Roof Drainage The Power Of Siphonic Performance
Fewer pipelines – greater performance
With Geberit Pluvia, Geberit offers a high-performance drainage system for large or complex roofs. The syphonic roof drainage system ensures efficient and reliable performance even during heavy rainfall.
Unlike conventional roof drainage systems, Geberit Pluvia requires significantly less material and space. This allows for more efficient use of available space during the planning phase.
Geberit Pluvia has proven itself worldwide over decades of use and is suitable for almost any roof shape.
Geberit also provides project-specific advice and planning support. For fast and reliable planning, users can count on the Geberit ProPlanner planning software and an interface with AutoDesk® Revit®.

Why choose Geberit Pluvia?
Flexible design options
Geberit Pluvia can be used with various roof shapes.
Material savings
High performance with smaller pipe diameters, fewer roof outlets and fewer connections.
Efficient use of space
As the pipes are installed horizontally, Geberit Pluvia does not result in any loss of usable space.
Low maintenance
The high flow velocity in filled pipes creates a vacuum that contributes to the system’s self-cleaning function.
A quick guide to syphonic roof drainage
Geberit Pluvia is designed so that the pipes quickly and completely fill with water during heavy rainfall. This creates a closed, fast-flowing column of water that actively draws rainwater off the roof.
The discharge capacity of a syphonic roof drainage system is very high. With Geberit Pluvia, fewer roof outlets, smaller pipe diameters and fewer stacks are needed compared to conventional roof drainage systems. Geberit Pluvia can handle twice the amount of rainwater discharge with only half the pipe diameter. This gives sanitary engineers and architects greater design freedom. Pipes with a slope are no longer necessary.
Geberit Pluvia also reduces construction work and requires fewer connections to the sewage system. As an added benefit, the high flow velocity helps keep the pipes clean, resulting in significantly lower maintenance and servicing requirements.
Geberit Pluvia components
From the roof to the underground pipe connection – perfectly matched components ensure a fully functional overall system. Clever design details and consistently high material quality provide durability, safety and smooth operation.
Geberit PE pipe system
Geberit Pluvia roof outlets are connected to the stack using Geberit PE pipes, which are laid freely and horizontally beneath the roof.
The proven Geberit PE pipe system is renowned for its high resistance to stress. The uniform welding joints of the Geberit PE piping system allow it to handle the high pressures found in roof drainage systems like Geberit Pluvia.
Geberit offers a patented fastening system for professional installation of the pipes.

Geberit Pluvia roof outlets
Thanks to its modular structure and the wide range of Geberit Pluvia roof outlet variants, the system is suitable for almost any installation scenario on large buildings and roofs.
The necessary accessories are available for virtually all applications, making the system highly flexible.
Benefits:
- Reliable sealing with the Geberit EPDM flange gasket
- Each roof outlet is tested individually for tightness at the factory
- The function disc prevents air from being sucked in
- Rotating lock bar for easy installation
Geberit Pluvia emergency overflow: Geberit Pluvia roof outlets can be easily converted for use in an emergency overflow system.
